:I dont know about you guys, but there is something special about owning an N/A. Its different. A lot of those TT owners try to make you feel inferior. Fear not!: exciting things are beginning to happen.
:Most of us dream of a conversion to TT. For some, its a goal for the future, for some its something we are considering working on. For others, to pay for a mechanic to do the conversion isn't an option, and they lack the tools and know-how to do the work themselves. This may change!
:Z1motorsports and Ash(AshsZ) have been working on modified N/A's and have successfully converted a "stock" N/A to a "stock" TT with heartstopping results(see post). This is only a small taste of what our cars are capable of. They are now considering a project where they will develop a supercharged N/A that will prove a worthy adversary for any TT! Best of all, it likely will be a cheaper and more practical solution.
:For those of you who have reasearched the TT conversion, it requires a lot TT parts, and many more have to be custom manufatured, and an engine pull is REQUIRED. There are A LOT of major parts that have to be replaced and/or manufactured($$$). It is conceivable that we can develop a setup for a supercharger that wont require nearly as many modifications and possibly not even an engine pull to install.
:Please help me in convincing Ash and Z1 that there is great desire for this in our Z community. I for one would love a realistic chance to enjoy the full capabilities of this car. I am actively supporting Z1 and their aspirations to this. Please help me support them. True HP can be realized(think 500 RWHP!), and the aggressive transmission can be utilized! Please post all oppinions/questions!
